Tomorrow is the marking of a New Year! Thanks for an awesome year and cheers to a brand New Year; a clean slate! As soon as the clock strikes midnight and the ball in NYC drops among the bundled up and chanting crowd counting back from 10, the year of 2009 will be lost in the mists of time.
Say goodbye 2009 hello 2010. We may be saying goodbye to a year, but also a decade. 2000-2009 is a whole decade. Usually, each decade is known for something and we can just say the last two digits of the decade and a certain thought pops into our heads. (Ex: the 5o's one might think of poodle skirts and drive in theatres). What can we remember from 2000-2009?

the decade of hideously striped sweaters. my grandmother kept on buying more and more and more of these ugly contraptions, and i just got so depressed. (not to mention 9/11 happened and other grief causing events!)
ReplyDeleteso i guess id probably call it: the decade from Hell. sooo all in all it was terrible, but i did have lots of fun with friends.
